Chengdu: Baby Pandas and Red Pandas Are So Adorable!

Chengdu seemed like a huge gray city when first arriving. We were totally tired and it took us two days to overcome our jetlag.

We arrived at our first hostel – Sim’s Cozy. This is a nice place and a safe ground to begin the trip in. The room was small but cozy, the staff was great and spoke good English and the hostel cuisine was excellent.

Our rating for Sim’s Cozy hostel is 9 out of 10.

First, we visited the giant panda research and breeding center. We arrived early at about 9 am as the panda are most active at this time. This place is an extremely well maintained large park with creatures that would make you smile a lot!

And the highlight for us- the red panda The cutest animal on earth! Seeing all the pandas playing and eating was a great experience. The visit at the center lasts half a day and it is recommended.

At noon we returned to the city center and entered the People’s Park. This green park is full of Chinese.  If you want to experience Chengdu’s people relaxing and enjoying themselves then this is the place to go to and see people playing, singing, dancing and just having fun. You can easily spend a few hours at this charming place.

  1. The baby panda are so cute! But I do love big giant panda with heavy body with classic white and black colors.
