Israel is the country I grew up in and lived in all my life. Israel is a small country, but there are many beautiful places to see, and plenty of interesting things to do. It takes about 10 hours to drive from the northeast place to the southeast, but in between you can find many spiritual places, lovely cities, beautiful beaches, fun activities and great restaurants.
Here are some of my favorite of Israel:
1. Old city of Jerusalem– every time I visit Jerusalem it feels like going abroad, although it’s only 2 hours drive from where I live. Jerusalem is Israel’s capital, and It is considered holy and historic. among the many sites in Jerusalem you can visit the western wall, the church of the holy sepulcher, the beautiful markets and much more.
2.Tel aviv– if you like big cities with legendary nightlife, many beautiful beaches and markets, you might have lots of fun here. recommended places in Tel Aviv: alleyways of Old Jaffa, Carmel Market, Nachalat Benyamin Art Market, and more. One of the things Israelis love the most is going to the beach, due to the fact that it is hot here most of the year and there are many beaches.
3.Float in the Dead Sea– the lowest point on earth, a really fun place to visit. The sea is full of healthy minerals and makes your skin nice and smooth.
4. The Golan Heights– a beautiful region in the north of Israel, full of walking trails, parks, rivers, lakes, and nice viewpoints. in the north there are also some nice old cities to visit like Acre (Akko) and Safed (Tzefat). You should also consider a visit in the beautiful city Haifa, here you can find the interesting site of Bahai Gardens.
