Second trip to China
We arrived at Beijing Downtown Backpackers Youth Hostel. This lovely hostel is located in a charming ‘hutung’. The cost is quite cheap for Beijing- 170 yuan for a double room including breakfast. the staff speak English and free wifi available. The hostel is located 15 minute walk from sub way station.

Arriving China for the second time felt like coming back home. It felt familiar and exciting at the same time. We decided to travel today in Beijing even though we were very tired after the long flight. We took the subway to the Lama Temple. The Lama Temple is very impressive and well preserved, definitely worth a visit. If you only visit one Buddhist temple in Beijing then you should come here. The place is peaceful and inspiring.

Lama Temple- peaceful and inspiring
Later we took a bus to the 798 art district area. We spent only 2 hours wandering around the place since we were really tired, and felt like we only scratched the surface. You can find there lots of studios and galleries exhibiting amazing art of all kind.
